Skin types are usually divided into five categories: normal, dry, oily, combination, and sensitive skin. Knowing your skin type is crucial for choosing the right products and building a routine that actually works. At SKNLÛX, we have products adapted for all skin types, with a special focus on Korean skincare, which is known for its gentle and effective formulation.

Normal Skin
Normal skin is well-balanced – neither too dry nor too oily. Pores are barely visible, and the skin has an even, healthy tone. Normal skin needs a mild daily routine with cleansing, moisturizer, and sun protection to maintain its balance.
Dry Skin
Dry skin produces too little sebum and can feel tight, flaky, or itchy. Dry skin needs extra hydration and support for the skin barrier. Choose products with hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and rich moisturizers to give the skin the oils and moisture it needs.
Oily Skin
Oily skin produces too much sebum, which can result in a shiny surface and a tendency for blackheads and pimples. Regular exfoliation and light, oil-free moisturizers help balance sebum production without drying out the skin.
Combination Skin
Combination skin is oily in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) but dry or normal on the cheeks. It requires a routine that balances different needs on different parts of the face – often with separate products for different zones.
Sensitive Skin
Sensitive skin reacts easily to irritants such as perfume, alcohol, or strong acids. It can redden, itch, or burn from products that are well-tolerated by other skin types. Sensitive skin benefits most from mild, fragrance-free products with soothing ingredients such as aloe vera, centella asiatica, and madecassoside.
