Clinique was launched in 1968 in the USA as one of the first major brands to focus on dermatologically developed skincare. Created by Estée Lauder Companies in collaboration with Carol Phillips and Dr. Norman Orentreich, the brand was built on the idea that skin can be improved through the right routines. Clinique became known for allergy-tested, fragrance-free formulations and its iconic three-step routine.
